The North Shore is biggest in the winter months, which typically starts around October and dwindles off in April. During these winter months you can watch the big surf at events like The Vans Triple Crown of Surfing and the Eddie Aikau Big Wave Invitational. We get swells of all shapes and sizes and even if it’s big at one spot, there are always alternative options if you want to surf somewhere smaller. Talk to one of our staff members and they will be happy to point you in the right direction to a spot good for your ability.

If you’re new to surfing or just haven’t had much time to practice lately book a lesson with our friends at Banzai Surf School!
